AI Strategist Intern

Yellow Tech is a strategy consulting firm specialised in AI transformation: we help companies understand and adopt artificial intelligence. We are an AI-first company, made of humans and AI agents working together, born with the arrival of LLMs and fully bootstrapped: we sustain ourselves and we decide what to build.

The Business Development team finds companies and qualifies them; the Strategist understands the need, closes the project and coordinates it; the Trainers train the people (AI Academy), the Engineers build agents (AI Factory).

You are the operational support of the AI Strategists: you turn what comes out of client conversations into analysis, proposals and concrete work, contributing to both the sale and the delivery of projects.

• Understand companies and opportunities: You analyse clients’ business, processes and priorities to find where AI can create value. You prepare analyses, use cases and materials that help the Strategist build the proposal.
• Help build the deals: You take part in discovery calls with the client, gather information, structure the problem and help turn it into a concrete AI Adoption or AI Agents project.
• Move projects forward: You work alongside the Strategist in delivery: you coordinate activities, people and deadlines, prepare the progress reviews and make sure what is agreed with the client actually gets done.
• Take ownership of the client, step by step: You start by running single activities and workstreams, then lead parts of calls and projects directly, until you are autonomous on the simpler opportunities.

• During the first month: you shadow a senior Strategist on active deals and projects: pre-sales, design, progress reviews.
• In the first 3 months: you close your first deal end to end, from the first call to signature, and act as PM on your first project.
• After 4-6 months: you can move to a full-time role.

We work mainly in person, from our office in Corvetto, Milan. That said, we operate with flexibility and common sense: remote work is possible when it is needed.

LLMs arrived three years ago and created a new market. The window is wide and it is open now; to stay ahead of it you have to work better and harder than the others. Anyone looking for a predictable pace will not be happy here.
